HELP HONOR A LOCAL HERO
The Arts Council of Wilmington & New Hanover County is proud to serve as the fiscal agent for the Major General Joseph McNeil Monument Fund. On February 1, 1960 — 61 years ago — the Wilmington native was one of four young men who would come to be called the “Greensboro Four”. Their valor led to the integration of eating establishments nationwide. Let’s honor our hometown hero!
